If you want to know how shameless Republican hypocrisy is, you need go no further than disgraced former Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert.
Jailed former House Speaker Dennis Hastert says a man who accused him of sexual abuse should return $1.7 million in hush money because he broke his silence by talking to the feds.

"To the extent any contract existed between plaintiff [Individual A] and defendant [Hastert], plaintiff breached that contract," Hastert's lawyers wrote.
"Plaintiff's breach of conduct resulted in damages to defendant and plaintiff is accordingly required to return $1.7 million to defendant."
These lawyers are probably trying to get some money having spun the wheels of logic for a very long time in attempting a defense of Hastert. At one point they tried to limit his sentencing by saying the public humiliation of being an actual sexual predator was punishment enough. Dennis Hastert’s “hush money” is the bare minimum he owes to the person he took advantage of and violated.
